When an existing client comes to you and says we’re rebranding and we want you to make our announcement killer, you cull together the best of San Francisco to make it happen. Medium came to us about a month out from their press announcement and asked us to produce the press launch and after party. We rented one of the Bay’s most darling venues, NWBLK, to create a one-of-a-kind event, complete with life-size recreations of key platform stories, a suspenseful logo reveal, and topnotch West Coast DJs Shecky and Pizzo. The life-size story renders, late night food truck ushered in the big moment at the afterparty where the re-brand was revealed in dramatic fashion via larger-than-life recreations of Medium stories.
